Hands Rochester Volunteer Centre - office opening hours: 9.30am - 12.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Hands was established in 1969 and covers the large urban/rural areas of Rochester, Chatham, Strood and surrounding districts. In 1982 the organisation took on the role of Volunteer Bureau. In July 2010 members voted to change our name to Hands Rochester Volunteer Centre.Hands Rochester Volunteer Centre manages the following projects: Transport scheme, Befriending/Visiting scheme, Supported Volunteers, Lunch Club and the recruitment of volunteers for charitable and not for profit organisations. Volunteering is open to all and we assist people aged 18 and over to find suitable and rewarding volunteering work. Please use the links to find out more.
