Hands Rochester Volunteer Bureau Our office is open from 9.30am - 12.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Hands was established in 1969 and covers the large urban/rural areas of Rochester, Chatham, Strood and surrounding districts.  In 1982 the organisation took on the role of Volunteer Bureau.

Hands Rochester Volunteer Bureau manages the following projects: Transport scheme, Befriending/Visiting scheme, Supported Volunteers Scheme, Lunch Club and the recruitment of volunteers for charitable and not for profit organisations.

Volunteering is open to all and we assist people aged 18 and over to find suitable and rewarding volunteering work. Please use the links to find out more.
